College Affordability & The Financial Aid Process (PHEAA presentation)
This in-person event is for any Upper School YCDS parents and students to attend. This will be of important focus due to timing and processes expected this year and in coming years (grade-dependent). The focus of this informational webinar is to showcase key terminology, processes, and resource sharing. Different types of aid (academic scholarships, need-based aid, outside scholarships, and more) will be explained and explored, as well as process points for the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Elements of the "process" shifted last year, and are developing further this year. These shifts will be an important part of the conversation and presentation as well.
